In short
  • We collect only what’s needed to run your account, purchases, deals and balance.
  • We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties or companies. The few exceptions are listed below and strictly limited.
  • The platform uses essential cookies only — no advertising, no tracking.
  • Passwords and the data of delivered goods are securely protected.
  • You can ask what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted.

Who we are

LUMEN tech (“we”, “us”) runs the platform at lumen-tech.app (opens in a new tab) — Lumen ID, the Lumen balance, Lumen Marketplace — and the project’s presentation site at lumen-service.com (opens in a new tab). We decide how and why your personal data is processed, and this Policy explains it.

This Policy works together with the Terms of Use.

What we collect

  • Account: name, email, Lumen ID number, interface language and sign-in methods. We never store your password in readable form — nobody can read it, including us. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, email (and whether Google has verified it) and name.
  • Sign-ins: the IP address and device you sign in from, plus sign-ins and password changes — to protect your account.
  • Transactions: your balance and its movements in our ledger, orders and their contents, escrow deals — amounts, terms, statuses and fees. Once top-ups launch, also top-up details.
  • Delivered goods: the data of the goods handed over to you in orders. It’s stored encrypted.
  • Details for delivery: what you enter when buying an item that a manager hands over — for example, a nickname or player ID, an email for an invitation, and sometimes sign-in details of your own account on the service the item is for. They’re stored encrypted and seen only by the staff who hand over orders.
  • Communications: messages and files in order chats and escrow deal chats, dispute materials and whatever you send to support. If you write to us on Telegram or by email, those services also process your messages under their own rules.
  • Presentation site lumen-service.com: there are no accounts; visits are counted only in aggregate — without building a profile of you.

We don’t collect bank card details and don’t ask for identity documents. If that ever changes (for example, for identity verification), we’ll update this Policy first.

Why we use it

  • to create and run your account and let you sign in;
  • to process orders and hand over the goods;
  • to run escrow deals and resolve disputes;
  • to keep the balance and transactions accurate, including for accounting;
  • to protect accounts and the platform: limit sign-in attempts, recognize known devices, detect fraud and abuse;
  • to answer your support requests;
  • to comply with the law.

We don’t use your data for advertising and don’t build advertising profiles.

We don’t sell your data — who can see it

We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties or companies.

Your data is used only to run the platform. Apart from the cases below, we don’t give it to anyone outside LUMEN tech.

  • Service providers working for us. To run the platform, we use a few providers: the hosting provider whose servers run the platform, Cloudflare, which protects the site, and — once top-ups launch — the payment provider (only the data needed to process your top-up). They process data to provide their service to us and get only what that service needs.
  • Google — only if you choose it. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us which Google account and email you use; Google’s own privacy policy applies to your Google account. If you don’t use Google sign-in, we share nothing with Google.
  • Escrow deals. The other party of your deal — and anyone who opens an invite link you sent — sees the name from your profile and your Lumen ID number. The other party also sees the messages and files you send in the deal chat. Lumen moderators see the deal to check it and resolve disputes.
  • When the law requires it. We disclose data only when the law or a binding decision of a court or another authority requires it, and only as much as required.

The payment provider may have its own legal duties (for example, anti-fraud checks) and its own privacy policy. Providers may process data in other countries.

Inside LUMEN tech, only staff who need your data for their work — support, managers, moderators — can access it, and sensitive actions are logged.

Cookies

The platform uses only essential cookies: to keep you signed in, to remember your language and the section you opened last, and to protect sign-in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

You can delete cookies in your browser settings, but then you’ll be signed out and your settings will reset.

How long we keep data

  • Account data — while the account exists. After it’s closed, we delete or anonymize it, except the records below that we need to keep for accounting and disputes.
  • Ledger records (balance movements, payments, payouts, fees) and orders — kept for accounting, including after the account is closed.
  • Escrow deals: deal records and chat messages are kept for as long as the deal record exists — for accounting and disputes — and can’t be deleted on request; a moderator can remove unlawful content from a chat. Chat files are deleted 365 days after a paid deal closes and 30 days after an unpaid one closes.
  • Delivered goods data — kept encrypted in the order, so you can open it again.
  • Details for delivery: sign-in details of your own accounts are deleted 30 days after the period for reporting problems with the order ends (or after the order closes); the rest is kept with the order.
  • Order chats: messages are kept with the order. Chat files are deleted 365 days after the order closes or, for a delivered order, after the period for reporting problems ends.
  • Security data: sign-in attempt counters reset automatically after a short time; security events are kept as long as they’re needed to protect accounts.
  • Support requests — as long as needed to resolve them.
  • Backups: database backups are kept for up to 14 days, so deleted data disappears from them within that time.

How we protect data

  • All connections to the platform are encrypted.
  • Passwords are never stored in readable form, and the data of delivered goods is encrypted.
  • Staff access is limited by role, and sensitive actions are logged.
  • Sign-in attempts are limited to protect against password guessing.

No system is perfectly secure. If you think someone has accessed your account, change your password, sign out on other devices and contact support.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct inaccurate data (you can change your name yourself in your account);
  • delete your data and close your account — except the records we need to keep for accounting and disputes (ledger, orders and their chats, escrow deal records and messages, and chat files for the periods above). Sign-in details you gave for delivery are deleted together with the account.

Write to support (see Contacts) and include your Lumen ID number; if you write from your account’s email, we can confirm it’s you faster. Such requests are free of charge.

Children

The platform is for people aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we’ll close it and delete the data, except the records we need to keep for accounting and disputes.

Changes to this Policy

We update this Policy when the platform or our practices change. The version and the effective date are shown at the top. We announce significant changes on the platform before they take effect.
